Deadline to Submit Creditable Coverage Disclosures Approaches

Group health plan sponsors that provide prescription drug coverage to Medicare Part D eligible individuals must disclose to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) on an annual basis whether the coverage qualifies as creditable or non-creditable. This requirement applies to all plan sponsors that provide prescription drug coverage, even those that do not make coverage available to retirees.
