The ADA Admendments Act of 2008
The ADA Amendments Act of 2008 (ADAAA or Act) was enacted on September 25, 2008, becoming effective January 1, 2009. This law made a number of significant changes to the definition of "disability". The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) issued final regulations to further implement the Act on March 25, 2011 and will be effective May 24, 2011. Here are two articles on this topic:
